Carlsbad, CA – The Geldner Group recently facilitated a major partnering workshop for the US Marine Corps, US Navy and T.B. Penick & Sons (contractor) in support of constructing a new 37,000 sq. ft. Child Development Center at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC), 29 Palms, California.
When completed, the facility will serve infants, pre-toddlers, toddlers and pre-school aged children of military and civilian personnel at MCAGCC.
Partnering workshops such as these are designed to help projects move forward, get construction and design team members communicating more effectively and to ensure that big picture project goals are being met.
Geldner Group conducted in-depth interviews with multiple stakeholders, a team survey plus an off-site workshop with key team members facilitated by Geldner Group Principal, Linda Geldner.
This resulted in a renewed commitment to the project, agreements to improve communications and timeliness plus a new process to more efficiently and effectively resolve issues.
